SOMEBODY ELSE’S CHILD THIS TIME

For nearly four whole days I didn’t pick my camera up. Once. Apart from when I was tidying up over the weekend and I moved it from one side of the room to the other. Then this afternoon I cracked. I couldn’t help it – the kids were out playing in the sunshine, I was laying on the grass watching them, and all of a sudden I had.to.get.my.camera.
I won’t bore you with this afternoon’s impromptu session though – you’ve probably seen enough of my kids these last 6 weeks to last a lifetime.  What I will share instead are a handful of images of the most delightful little Tiffany.
I had the absolute pleasure of doing a baby session with Tiffany and her big sister a couple of weeks ago, but their blog post got eaten up by my children. And that seriously sounds like my kids would eat anything – if only that were true.
Tiffany was the sweetest, daintiest little being, and each time I look at these photographs a little coo escapes my lips and I try not to get clucky. I try very hard.

I have looked back several times (already) over the images I took of our kids during our summer project, and have felt soooo grateful for that period of their lives I now have a permanent record of. And looking over the above images tonight, along with the rest of their gallery (trying to choose which images to share), I feel so happy to be able to provide ‘forever moments’ for many other people, even if it’s just a morning or an afternoon out of their day. And the best thing is they don’t scream at me to put my camera away, or ask for chocolate in return for sitting still for two minutes. It’s a win/win situation.
