366 pieces of life | Day 356 (10 days to go…)

OK – I’m starting to feel a bit sad now, having just typed in that we only have 10 days to go of our 366 project.  What on earth am I going to do with myself when it’s all over?…..

Tis just a snapshot of Jaedon today – I wasn’t really in a photo taking mood.  But I had to laugh and be thankful for probably the last time that we’ll be able to physically assemble the kid’s christmas present around them (literally) with them being blissfully unaware of what we’re doing.  There’s no prizes for guessing what the 15ft metal ring that’s taking up half our back yard will finally look like on Christmas morning.  Well, no prizes for anyone but Jaedon.  🙂  I love that he’s sitting there in the box with the bits, reading the assembly manual, without a clue.  Now that’s priceless.

I didn’t quite get as much of Alicia-Rae in focus here as I wanted to, but it was one of those moments I didn’t even think to stop and check my camera settings.
Daddy has two guitars in his (our) bedroom – an accoustic and an electric one. Alicia-Rae just loves playing with the accoustic one (actually she loves any instrument she can get her hands on – definately the musical child), but she especially loves it when daddy plays too and she can join in.  Daddy’s been too busy to play a whole lot lately so she jumped at the chance to pluck a few strings for him.  It’s one of those daddy/daughter moments that I cherish – I just love watching the two of them together.
