WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE

When you’ve just received one of your favourite lenses back from being serviced and re-calibrated (yes, they’re just like cars and need regular love and attention), and it’s a perfect afternoon, and your three year old son is in an agreeable mood, and the light is to die for, and you’re simply in the mood for taking photos for the fun of it (it doesn’t happen enough lately!) – this is what happens.
I’m so grateful we have this ‘playground’ right outside our front door – literally. It’s overgrown, and crazy with sword grass and blackberry bushes, but we all love exploring and playing in it’s depths and, even if for just a few minutes, we can feel like we’re on our own grand adventure, off where the wild things are. Sometimes we even pretend we are the wild things.
