These are a few of my favourite things | chocolate

Ok – so I’ve been racking my brains lately thinking about what sort of things I can blog about. I like the idea of this place being about more than just sessions and sneak peaks.  I want it to reflect a bit of who I am as well (whether that’s a good idea or not :)  ).
One thought that sprung to mind while typing out my last post was to photograph various ‘favourites’ of mine. So, naturally, my first post on this subject would have to be about chocolate. :)

Anyone that knows me remotely well will know of my fond affection for the food of the gods (a bit of interesting trivia, for those of you so far unaware, the cacao bean plant’s botanical name is Theobroma cacao, and literally means “food of the “gods”. There you go – you can actually get an education by visiting my blog…)  Anyway. If I had to pick a favourite chocolatey sensation (which is the point of this post) there wouldn’t be much of a competition really. Hands down it would be Haighs.  And I’m not just saying that because they used to employ me (and boy, what a hard job that was!), but because it is seriously the best chocolate. Ever.
If you’re lucky enough to live in Melbourne, Sydney, or Adelaide (the only cities they have stores in), and for some unknown reason you haven’t tried it, you simply must do.  Actually – know what I’m gonna do? If you don’t live in one of these cities, and would like to try some, leave a comment under this post.  Next Sunday (the 28th) I’ll randomly choose a poster and mail them a block of my favourite chocolatey sensation favourite – the milk chocolate block (boring, I know, but oh so yummy…). And, because I’m feeling generous, even if you do live in one of these cities you can still join in. I’m all about sharin the love (and the chocolate).  Good luck. :)

(Oh, and if you have any other ‘favourites’ you’d like to see me take pics of, leave a note about that in the comments too….)

MM….yummo. If that pic was of Top Deck choc I would be licking my screen! Never tried that Haighs chocolate though. Other favourites? What about cashews?

Oh LOL seeing that chocolate makes me want to cry. We visited Adelaide this year, and *shamed* bought a huge amount of Haigh chocolate – to take back home with us! Then 1/2 way to the airport I realised it was still sitting in the motel fridge! augh! We didn’t have the time to turn back – I was devastated as the choc was delicious LOL

I would also find it “hard” to work there LOL Love how you have taken a chunk/bite out of the piece – great dof!
