ALEX AND JOLIE | MELBOURNE WEDDING

I don’t think I’ve ever cried at a wedding so much as I did at Alex and Jolie’s. I’m not even sure I was as teary at my own wedding. They were gentle, quiet tears of joy, of happiness, often not even noticed until they made their way to the corners of my mouth.  It wasn’t so much that it was an overly emotional day. It was simply because of the honesty of the day, the looks that passed between friends, family, lovers. I was in the midst of something real and genuine and just plain meant to be. And I felt incredibly honoured to be a part of it.  What girl wouldn’t get teary in a setting like that.

If you happen to read this while on honeymoon guys (though a big part of me hopes and imagines you have better things to do) know that I count myself blessed beyond measure to have been invited to share this day with you and your family and friends.  I’ll have beautiful memories of it for a long while to come. And I hope, through these photos, I’ve been able to share some of them with you.

(And a big shout out to Amy for shooting with me on the day.  And for not making too much fun of the ease in which I turn into a blubbering mess…)
