Hello!

Hi! I’m Narrelle Joy, from NJOY THE MOMENT, and I’m a Melbourne based photographer who loves little people, people in love, and weddings. Providing you with beautiful and honest photography of these people and moments in your life would make me the happiest person this side of Bora Bora.

Here’s a few things about me, which you may or may not know. And may or may not want to.

My first camera was a Pentax K1000.
I’m passionate about chocolate. My favourite is Haighs.
I have been to over 30 countries, 31 if you count Tasmania.
I was born in Tasmania, which gives me automatic rights to make bad jokes about it.
As well as being a proud Aussie, I am also a British Citizen – which makes my love of travelling a whole lot easier.
Aside from Australia I have also called England home, for six years, and Papua New Guinea, for two.
I have a motorcycle licence, but no longer ride (have you driven in Melbourne traffic!!)
My favourite book of late is A Constellation of Vital Phenomena.
I’ve always dreamt of being able to sing, or play the piano, or both.
I snort when I laugh.
I sleepwalk.
I’ve climbed the Eiffel Tower.
I love the smell of jasmine.
I’ll eat vegetables if I have to.
I’m afraid of being forgettable.
I believe in true love.
I cry at the drop of a hat. And I’ll probably cry at your wedding if you have me there.
I’ve eaten grubs. They taste like toothpaste (just in case you’re wondering).
I have three gorgeous children and a hunky husband.
I caught the photography bug over twenty years ago, and am still amazed that it’s brought me to where I am at this very moment.
