NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY | BABY MAXWELL

Eighteen months ago I did a portrait session for Max’s ‘big’ sister, so I was absolutely delighted to be invited back to see how much she’d grown, and to meet her little brother.  It was adorable to see just how smitten she was with him, and rightly so.  But I think the most smitten heart belonged to daddy.  He wore his pride in his little guy on his sleeve.  And even if he hadn’t been wearing sleeves I’d have still seen it a mile off.

I spent a wonderful afternoon with this beautfiful, newly expanded family.  I coo-ed, and I aahh-ed, and I marvelled at just how precious these new lives are.  And I felt so very happy for him to be born into such a gentle and loving family.  And I felt lucky for myself to be allowed into such a wondrous time of their lives, to witness and capture the very beginning of this much adored little boy’s days.

Thank you so much Emma and Stu – it really is a privilege to be able to do what I do, and a blessing to be given the honour of doing it for people such as yourselves.  When I look at these images I smile, and I know that little Maxwell is a very lucky boy indeed, in so many ways, just as much as you count yourselves fortunate to have him around.
