A few posts ago I mentioned I’d be back in the new year with a download to share with you all. It’s really only relevant for fellow photographers, but useful to anyone who likes to blog with large and multiple images. And I realise a great deal of people would be able to do this for themselves if they had the time but, let’s face it, not many of us do. Soooooo if you fit into any of these above categories I have something for you that should hopefully save you a bit of time and effort when it comes to blogging your favourite images.
Basically I’ve created a set of actions to be used in photoshop should you wish to post multiple images without overwhelming your readers with photos. They are somewhat similar to storyboards but are made as actions rather than templates. And they generally only have a width of 900 pixels, so are ideal for posting a collection of images, be it 2 or 9, in a space roughly similar to what one photo would normally take up. The actions come in a zipped file, so all you have to do is unzip it and load it up into Photoshop, and away you go. They’ve been created in CS4 but should work in previous versions without any problems.
